VOTING TIME

There's a brilliant new website FactCheck, by C4, that dispells the porkies and red-herrings that politians and parties put about during an election campaign. They go through claims and statistics made and point out when the facts have been twisted or just plain made up!

In the meantime, I am hoping that Islington Council have finally got it through their heads that I am not, nor have ever been a Spanish national (I spent 4 days in Barcelona in 2001, I don't think that entitled me to Spanish citizenship) and that I am in fact a Commonwealth/British citizen and therefor entitled to vote in the election next month.

I don't have much faith in the council though.
