The Floor Has Been Found

...at the expense of Brighton Pride.

The weather was perfect for Brighton, too. It was warm with clear blue skies. We did get quite a bit of work done on Friday evening. We found the floor in the lounge and arranged the furniture to maximise the space.

We had to go to East Ham on Saturday with a list of things that were wrong with the flat ie. The bedroom window not shutting properly and the mold on the bathtub.

We rewarded ourselves with a trip to Victoria Park where Tim's brother Greg and his wife Amy were having a picnic.

We went home for dinner and some more tidying before going out to one of our locals. The local was pretty surreal. There was 3 generations of one family sitting and drinking (well the 8 year old girl seemed to be on coke.) They took turns on Kareoke and danced to the cheesy music. They ate kebabs and even grandma was rocking out to some of the tunes. They were over-weight, badly dressed and having ball.

Although the pub was in the middle of a council estate the vibe was friendly, happy and open. Honestly, we probably won't be spending that much time there but it's nice to know that it's there when we fancy going out in North Woolwich.
