Hello

I haven't been posting because all I am going to do is whinge about how I hate everyone and everything at the moment.

It's not all gloom and doom. I did have a great time on Saturday night, which involved going to the Clockwork on Pentonville road to see The Open Mouths and the magnificent Motormark with Stuart, Richard, Malcolm and Danish Peter.

We had been drinking at Richard's place beforehand and continued to drink at the (slightly icky) venue. It was supposed to be a club night after the bands but it was appallingly bad so we ran away.

Initially we meant to go to the Joiner's Arms on Hackney Road but I knew of a party that was happening on Old Street. We crashed it and said hello, but it wasn't really kicking off. We had a few drinks, and then went to the roof of the building to jump around and just have a "WE LOVE LONDON" moment- as tends to happen on roof tops in this city.

We decided to walk the rest of the way to the the Arms. It was fucking cold. We were well pissed by this time and I was still carrying a glass from the party. It took us ages to walk down Old Street as we were rambling about, talking to strangers and playing along the way.

When we got the Joiner's it was 3am (how did that happen???) and it was closed. We were puzzled. Also, we'd lost Stuart (although he reappeared a few minutes later, rather distressed and claiming we abandoned him.)

We decided chips were the way forwarded and we had some really nice ones in pita bread from a chippy on Hackney Road. We then went off to Stuart's place, rather merrily and very, very cold.

Once there Malcolm went to bed, Richard passed out on the sofa and I ran about being silly until I got bored with all the sleepyheads and went home.
