Tim turned 30 on Sunday (happy birthday, sweetie!)
We have 4 of his mates drive down and sleep in our living room on inflatible beds.
We started off with drinks at the Slug and Lettuce on Wardour street. Unfortunately the Rugby Worlc Cup Final coincided with the whole thing so we had to watch the whole match and pretend to care. Well, it would have been nice if England had won but South Africa was too good. Apparently. I'm saying that because they won.
This was the best bit of the whole game. Skip to the 40th second and see Rugby player vs Tv Camera! That's quality right there!
The gays did what you'd expect and left when the rugby started.
Tim got quite drunk and shouted alot even though he didn't know what was going on.
After closing time we went to Freedom because, really, I didn't think I could get Tim anywhere that was any further away.
It was alright. They played some funky house. Freedom also boasts the most glitter balls of any place I have ever been:
(check them out on the ceiling. More photos here)
The night culminated in tequila shots and Tim throwing up so that we had to leave the club at 1:30am and were back home before 3am, but not before the birthday boy went into some out-there rants and confusion.
So it all went as expected, really.
On Sunday, his actual birthday, we were all quite hungover. We had big fry up and then went for a walk along the river and docks before coming back to some homemade Bailey's Irish Cream cake.
After the other's left Tim and I napped all afternoon, then had a curry and slobbed out.
Monday was very difficult. We had to admit now that we are both 30 big nights out drinking destroy us for days. Growing old is a bit depressing but I could get used to nap time.
