The End of a Beautiful Friendship?

Tim and I are driving to Bristol tonight. Tim is from nearby Stroud; which as far as I can tell from Tim's appalling tales of his childhood, is a mixture of the Chavtastic and hippie heaven (how those two fit together, I haven't a clue. I will report back if I can be bothered next week.)

My only previous experience of the West Country was when we drove to Wales 3 years ago. They countryside there is reportedly beautiful and typically "English."

This should be an experience providing I don't kill Tim too early on in the adventure. He does get obnoxious when he's had a few but I'm hoping that because he's driving this will be kept down to a mininum.
