Random Thoughts

-Danish Cartoon Row. At the risk of being rather Un-Politically Correct: Seriously, guys; it's Denmark. Not exactly anyone's mortal enemy. They're not even taken seriously in Europe.


-Are Friday Hill the most mingin' boy band ever? Although I quite like their new single, I do find the weird "rap" bits at the end contrite, unnecessary and incoherent. What's that Kenzie? Timmy's fallen down a well? No? You need cough drops? Elocution lessons? What ARE you saying?



-I'm really bored of those Alley Cat Dolls. Honestly. Their just a little bit self-absorbed aren't they? And really, rather vanilla.

-I got tickets to see Morrissey in May, woohoo!

-Eastenders and Hollyoaks seem to be shaking things up a bit at the moment, which is making for very interesting viewing. I am not sure about all the new, young characters on Eastenders though. It's a bit like your middle-aged teacher trying to get down with the kids.

-I had the displeasure of catching X-Factor Chico's video at the weekend. I think Popjustice summed it up brilliantly at the end of this entry

-Now then...you can't live in the UK at the moment and miss all the hype surrounding the Arctic Monkeys. But people, get a bloody grip, although they are a good band, they're not the fucking saviours of rock n roll. They're not exactly Lennon&McCartney. They don't have a new sound. They've just got some catchy tunes that are fun to jump up and down to. That'll do. Just keep it in perspective.
