I had my appraisal at work yesterday.

I was rather nervous after all the issues surrounding “occupational health.”

Once in there, though, with the Director and HR Lady, it was fine and they were very friendly. Much to my surprise, I was told I was doing a “fine” job. (Honestly, what movie have they been watching??) It seemed a bit flippant and moody to me. I wonder if they just can’t be bothered to sack me because they wouldn’t be capable of ordering paper otherwise.

I felt better afterwards though. It’s good to be needed, if only because no one will open the post otherwise. What strange hand I have to play with in this game, don’t you think?
