Sweet f.a.
I've done fuck all since I've been in Canada, which is kinda nice, but also kinda frustrating.
The main problems have been:
a) My Abbey card snapped in half a few days before I was due to fly to Toronto on the 15th. The 15th is also pay day so I only had so much money I could take out of the bank on the 14th. It's so depressing. So I have no way of accessing my money from over here. Freddie kindly informed me that my new card arrived last Friday. But there was no one home to sign for it so it's at the post offic.
b) It's QUITE Cold. And I hate it. It's not like I can go have a wander around. The snow is quite solid and slippery, too.
c) My parents live in the suburbs, and it takes 45 minutes to get downtown via public transport. And once I am downtown, see b)
d) The only option is the mall but the one near here is rubbish, and the ones downtown are completely rammed a la Oxford Street on a December Saturday afternoon but with a lot more children. It's ghastly.
Oh, I did see King Kong, which is delightful and entertaining. I did get vertigo and cried at the end even though I knew what was going to happen. Also, you may want to bring a cushion or something because it's 3 hours long.
