Upper Street=Drunk, As Per Usual
I spent last night on Upper Street with Luke. We started off at the Tinderbox espresso bar, which is still one of my favourite places for coffee in London.
After much wandering and indecisiveness we had dinner at Gufaa, and Indian restauant. It seemed nice from the outside but the service was a bit grumpy and my "vegetarian" dish came with chicken. I was quite pissed off. Then they had the nerve to add the service charge to our bill. I asked for it to be removed and they were quite grumpy about it. Tossers. (Although I have to say the dish, once the vegetarian one arrived, was quite delicious. Still, don't go there.)
I was surprised at the end to find out we'd drank an entire bottle of wine. I don't remember drinking it. That's alcohol for you.
After a bit more indecisivenss we went to the Steam Passage Pub and had a few drink and had some deep discussion, about everything (politics, environment, religion, Brett Anderson *drool*, anything but what we were supposed to be talking about!)
We, or I, was quite pissed when the pub shut at midnight. I managed to miss my bus, and almost missed it again. I also ran with my big boots on and now my knee hurts :-(
