They Lied to Me
They said it would be a 9 month waiting list from February.
My surgery is scheduled for the 23rd of March, and I have to admit myself to the hospital on the 22nd. Fun.
They said they would give me 4 weeks notice, which they did not. I got the letter on Saturday morning, so I decided to skip Trade that night. The operation also means I will miss the next Trade on Easter.
I have to cut down on my drinking and drug taking (ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it's so UNFUN.) I won't be able to ride the tube. I will be off work for 2 weeks. I will get bored.
I won't be able to go to the gym for at least a month. I froze my membership yesterday. I will not be able to go to places with loud music.
I will have gauze in my ear for 3 weeks so I won't be able to hear much for that time. It will also make me prone to dizziness and inbalance. HURRAH!
My mom is going to try and fly in for it but she'll also have to stay in a hotel as we don't have anywhere for her to stay at mine.
This is just like, not exciting in a good way.
Sid is going to hospital on the same day to have the pins taken out of his shattered wrist. Unfortunately we won't be in the same hospital. Otherwise, we could have shared a room and suffered together!
