..I really love G-A-Y Bar

I don't like the club one bit, but the BAR is genius. Formerly the pretentious Manto, it was converted about a year ago into a celebration of Pop and Cheese. The walls are covered in widescreen tellies that play non-stop pop videos. There's room to dance, space to sit and cheap drinks during the week. And yes, there's a bit of pink.

I went on Friday with an assortment of Davids, Sid and Albert. We danced 'til close (sadly midnight)

My only complaint is the toilet attendents. Pushy bastards. I can wash my own hands, thanks.

Girls Aloud, Madonna, and Kylie are the queens here (please no jokes about the punters!) Sadly, they do seem to play a bit too much Westlife but you can forgive when they follow it up with Samantha Fox and a moment of 80s bliss.
