Last Friday

I haven’t written what Richard and I got up to last Friday yet.

I went to meet him for drinks at Abbey Road studios. They have a staff bar/canteen, which is rather nice and faces their beautiful garden. Rod Stewart was in the building performing for a select group of fans for the BBC. I popped my head round the door on my way to the toilet. It was Rod Stewart. It was ok.

Richard went to the toilet and when he came back told me that he’d seen Tim Wheeler from Ash go into the men’s so I went to the hall and waited for a while, pretending I was on my mobiel. After about 5 minutes I got bored.

I didn't see him, but we were in the same building

We then went for dinner at my beloved Satsuma, which was gorgeous as always and we had a gossip. We decided the man and woman next to us were in fact a john and a prostitute because he was old, and asking her a lot of questions, and she was young and pretty but rough around the edges. He seemed nervous and she compliant.

Then we came into my office and visited the security guard, who looked fed up; although he’s used to staff coming in and out at all hours of the night.

Richard and I then went for a drink at the Ship pub, where the music was freakin’ loud and rockin’; and the bar staff disappear into the bar.

The Ship put us in the mood to dance so we hopped on the underground to King’s Cross for Popstarz; which is when Chris showed us the fliers I mentioned below. Richard and I spazed out, then ran the bar.

We had a great night, and I saw Carl for the first time in ages. He was lovely as always and also helped me out with my hair after Richard and I had an argument over my hair clip. The hair clip did not survive.

Saturday

Richard and I went ‘round to Michael’s place in Highbury to meet some of his mates, and we have a great time. Mike provided us with loads of yummy veggie bites and the company was delightful.

Afterwards, we all walked to the Upstairs@thegarage for Club Motherfucker. Richard and I sang “We Are the World” all the way there.

The club was great, and messy. Spoke to Lawrence for the first time in ages, and he was looking great, too. He told me about his new night; however, I was drunk and now can’t remember. It sounded good, though.

Hani escaped from Pacha to play with us. Well, actually Pacha was rubbish so he decided to see where we were, but he seemed to have a good time. The gay boys liked him anyway…teehee.
